Guy Kawasaki, a venture capitalist and author, will be the featured speaker at 12 noon on February 18 at a luncheon hosted by the Economics Club of Hampton Roads at the Sheraton Norfolk Waterside.
He is the chief evangelist of Canva, a graphics-design online service, and an executive fellow at the Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley. He is a founder and managing director of Garage Technology Ventures and the author of 10 entrepreneurship books. They include The Art of the Start and Rules for Revolutionaries. He previously was an advisor to the Motorola business unit of Google and chief evangelist of Apple.
